Welcome to HelloWeek (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website helloweek.app and related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use HelloWeek. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

  • To use HelloWeek, you must create an account via Google OAuth.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
  • Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Misuse HelloWeek in a way that interferes with others’ use.

4. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your information.

5. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payments

  • All access to HelloWeek requires a paid subscription.
  • Payments are processed securely by our e-commerce partner, LemonSqueezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record.
  • By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees displayed at checkout.
  • Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually), depending on the plan you choose.
  • Pricing is subject to change, but you will be notified in advance of any changes affecting your subscription.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your HelloWeek account settings.
  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are handled in accordance with LemonSqueezy’s refund policy. Except where required by law, payments are generally non-refundable.

7. Taxes

  • LemonSqueezy, as Merchant of Record, is responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting applicable taxes (e.g., sales tax, VAT, GST).
  • Any required taxes will be displayed at checkout and included in your payment.

8. Services and Availability

  • HelloWeek is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
  • We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, without liability.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The HelloWeek name, logo, and all related materials are our property.
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
  • You retain ownership of the content you add to HelloWeek (e.g., calendar events), but you grant us a limited right to use it solely to operate the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using HelloWeek at any time.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • HelloWeek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States (state of Maryland), without regard to conflict of law principles.
